How does capping ticket prices make sense? If you cap ticket prices, you cap ticket revenue. Why should owners pay for the stadium when there are cities willing to fund building them? The A’s can’t wait to get out of Oakland and move the Las Vegas where presumably they’re going to get lots of help funding building a new stadium.
